2 - Developing the Business Plan together

Preparing and understanding a business plan is as important as having a business plan. It is an iterative process that will detail all aspects of the business. Big Idea Consulting will ensure that it is vigorously tested and stands up to the scrutiny of potential investors.

3 - Accessing Supports and Funding - “Show me the money”

Getting investment and support is essential to develop the business and it can be incredibly difficult and time consuming.

  • Do you know how much you need to make your proposal a reality?
  • Do you know what formation you will take, have you set up a company? 
  • Do you know what you need to do to apply for funding from Enterprise Ireland and other funding providers?

Big Idea Consulting can devise a funding plan including presentations and a pitch that are investor specific. We will prepare and coach you to present and pitch with conviction and authenticity. 

We will identify the best sources of funding, whether that is Competitive Start Funding (CSF), bank loans, private investors, other EI investments or venture capital. We have already successfully competed for most of these.

4 - Executing the plan

Congratulations – You have successfully developed your proposition, written a compelling business plan and raised the required finance to start your business – This is no mean feat and you are now on the field ready to play.

  • Have you identified and fine tuned your cost model? How sensitive is it?
